Blue Chameleon Setup Guide

  1. Merchant creation and quick configuration :

    1. Fill in your company's general information ;
    2. Settings to do :
      1. set Default User Group as Administrator ;
      2. set suppliers as enabled, if you wish to include them ;
      3. set credit control as enabled ;
      4. define supported currencies ;
    3. Shop(s) creation ;
    4. User groups creation ;
    5. Admin- and user(s)- related setups :
      1. fill in their general information ;
      2. copy user(s) rights from admin ;
    6. Define service level agreements.

     
    Image lozange_purple If you wish to use stock management : set Stock Management as Physical

    Image lozange_green If you wish to manage some articles as subscriptions : set Article Subscriptions as enabled

    Image lozange_yellow If you wish to use the External System : set External Account Management as either 'manual export' or 'automatic export'

  2. Invoicing, accounting and payment setups :

    1. Define a credit control class ;
    2. External accounts creation ;
    3. Bank accounts creation ;
    4. Credit note accounts creation ;
    5. Cash-box accounts creation ;
    6. Tax categories ceation, and then assessing them to 'Countries where order are accepted from' ;
    7. Tax codes creation ;
    8. Article delivery methods creation ;
    9. Invoice (and, if needed, reminder) delivery methods creation ;
    10. Payment methods creation ;
    11. Assigning supported delivery methods to payment methods ;
    12. Defining work sets for invoices and reminders.

  3. Main databases creation :

    1. Clients creation ;
    2. Articles creation.

    2. Suppliers creation, if you wish to include them ;
    3. Stock categories and stock articles creation ;
    4. As pictured as an example in Fig.Stock support options, for the relevant categories, pick either 'optional/required stock delivery' and also associate them with the corresponding stock categories ; then, for the relevant articles, associate them with the corresponding stock articles.
